Recently, streamers have been receiving targeted hate raids, follow bots, and chat raids. These can be described as many bots following a streamer and/or bots spamming harsh/extreme language into a streamers chat. This can even happen in an offline chat. This can then be reported and seen as the streamer's fault, which would get the streamer in trouble for something that was initiated by the person sending in the bots. 

'A Day Off Twitch' was proposed to get the attention of Twitch, forcing them to see that these bots and hate raids are an actual problem that have been impacting many people. Streamers and viewers are supposed to take the day off and avoid Twitch, like a protest.

However, some people may want more from the movement or cannot physically step away from Twitch from the day. This petition is for those who want to show their support for Twitch to work on protecting their streamers and viewers from these awful events. If you sign this petition you are urging Twitch to do better, to step up and face the problem in order to find a solution that will help everyone on the platform.
