On behalf of the student body of Twin Valley High School, we created this petition to bring before the school board to reconsider their decision to keep the bathroom doors propped open. In light of recent events, students enrolled at Twin Valley High School see the doors open as a threat to their safety due to students and staff speaking about and even entering the opposite gender's bathroom. As the school has a record for disregarding sexual harassment and assault cases, we ask that this is taken seriously to protect the safety, privacy, and wellbeing of the students at Twin Valley.

We believe simply closing the bathroom doors will give students the right to use the bathroom in peace and without fear of intruders. Students and peers, we are pushing so hard for this to keep you safe. Parents, these are your children. Protect them.

This is the easiest way to voice your opinion on a very serious issue within our school building, and we ask you to take just a minute of your time to try and make a change in our school.
