"Holbrook Little League has been around since 1966, and is the only sanctioned Softball program for girls in Jackson, and neighboring communities." That being said, we feel that it's about time that we shine a little light on our girls in this community and install lighting for the Majors softball field at the Holbrook/Bartley Fields. (These fields are Township property, therefore it is not up to Holbrook.) It's a shame that these girls are only able to put in 3 - 4 innings worth of competitive softball before they're forced to call the game due to the inability to see the ball. Practices during the week are constantly being cut short for the same reason. While on the other side of the street, they're able to play it out because they're under the lights. Again, this is an issue that we need to take to the board at Jackson Township.
