Tell TCIG to extend the consultative period on the Petroleum Bill

The Turks & Caicos Government has put forth proposed legislation to allow petroleum exploration in the the Turks and Caicos Islands.  The public consultation period started on October 1 and was supposed to end on October 14.  But the actual proposed legislation was buried on the Government's website so no one could find it until October 13.  The Government has extended the consultative period until October 21, but that is wholly inadequate for such an important piece of legislation.  We are asking the Government to extend the consultative period until the 1st of December so that all the individuals that could be impacted by this legislation have an opportunity to comment before it becomes law.
