We believe that the demand for ACADEMIC BREAK of TUP Students and Faculties must be approved due to the following reasons:
1.) In the midst of pandemic, students and faculties were still adjusting to the new way of learning which is ‘online class’. Students don’t have enough time to rest due to the piled up works, activities, exams, and responsibilities at their home.
2.) Numerous universities have approved the demand of their students to have an academic break. We believe that if Technological University of the Philippines would approved the demand of academic break of their students, this would be a great help for the students to prepare for the term exams.
3.) The effects of Super Typhoon Rolly to the socio economic status of students and their families, there are students who resides at Metro Manila, Cavite, and Batangas, the said areas were battered by the Super Typhoon Rolly which results to electric and internet disruptions.
