Add a REAL blocking feature on your website!

On Tumblr, people should feel safe. They shouldn't have to worry about someone who is harassing them still being able to view/reblog/like their posts, still have the blocked person following them, or still being able to send messages to them. This "ignore" function is practically useless, and an actual block function (such as the way Facebook has theirs) would be very useful in creating a safe space for many Tumblr users.
People on Tumblr get harassed, abused, bullied - not always by people hiding behind the anonymous feature. Just clicking “ignore” doesn’t do a thing. They can still contact you, reblog your posts, like your posts, view your blog. All “ignoring” them does is stop them from appearing on your dashboard.
We DESERVE to feel safe, but right now we don't even have that.
