Waited to sign until I had seen the commons. It is ridiculous that I will have to get a meal plan when I don’t even live near the campus next year.

This was not part of the deal when we chose Tulane over other schools. They can start this with the next class. Then the students can choose if they want to attend based on the additional cost.

This is a terrible idea and not what we signed up for as a family with a class of 2022 Freshman who already only eats one meal a day on average on campus. Please reconsider. We love everything about Tulane so far but this would cast a dark shadow on our experience. I don’t mind paying for her first two years because we knew what we signed up for even though it was a waste of money. Once she is off campus though- it’s a ridiculous ask.
