Texas State University to Follow Suit of Gov. Abbott’s Lifted COVID-19 Mandate By Allowing The People Do As They Wish With Their Granted Freedoms.

Help sign this petition to make our voices heard with our requests for the university to follow suit of the lifted mandate Gov. Abbott is putting in to place in regards to Covid.

WE THE PEOPLE have been given the right from the beginning to act freely in our community. Having the right to wear/not wear a item is fully something that should be in discretion of the person themselves.

These mandates have been in place for many many months with very questionable information of real change or improvement have taken place. The lack of willingness for others to allow flexibility within these mandates will only keep holding us back more during these tough times. We all want to return back to normalcy, and here’s a chance for us to truly take a step in the right direction of returning to the happiness we had felt more than a year ago. Improvement is also progressing for the virus in the sense that many vaccines are coming out, and the supplies is increasing at a rapid rate to soon be readily available to all.

Give the freedom to the people to make the decision if they’d like to wear a mask, social distance, be in a high capacity area, and so on. These are rights and decisions a person should be granted to make from a individual perspective.
