Despite the Fall 2020 semester starting with a mix of online and in-class classes, Trinity University has stated that they have "no plans" on giving students reduced tuition. As a student where 75% of my classes will be online, this infuriates me. Trinity University has previously not allowed online classes or online class transfer credits because they believe that it's lesser quality than in-class classes. Yet when their students now have to take Trinity classes online, they fail to offer ANY sort of reduced tuition for students for receiving a lesser quality of education. This university has a 1.2 BILLION dollar endowment, yet fails to even attempt to help their students in this global pandemic where financial matters are tight for students. I believe that the university should look at how many credits each individual student is taking online and in-person, and calculate a reduced tuition formula for their students.

If you feel that the tuition should not be reduced that is fine, that is your opinion. But if you are a student like me who cares to have a tuition price that fits the quality of education we are receiving, please share this and sign this petition. Thank you.
