Trinity College Dublin are still investing in companies that are indirectly involved in fossil fuel extraction. This petition aims to get these investors to stop using the Endowment Fund to invest in companies that harm the environment and instead choose companies which are sustainable. By doing this, Trinity will commit to a campus that future students and staff can be proud of.

Trinity committed to divest their Endowment Fund from fossil fuels back in 2016 but now in 2021 it has emerged that there are still a number of companies that Trinity have shares in who are involved in the extraction of fossil fuels. Trinity are in violation of their agreement and this contract aims to get them back on track towards a carbon neutral campus in the coming years.
