Hello! My name is Sophie and I'm a fifth grader working on my PYP exhibition. My topic is Treatment of people with Type 1 Diabetes and personally, I have experience with it because I have Type 1 Diabetes. People have said to me "You can't do this because you have Diabetes," or "I wont give this to you because you have Diabetes." People have also been making jokes about Type 1 Diabetes, like "You got Diabetes because you ate too much candy." Please help me get to a goal of 500 people signing my petition to stop Diabetes Discrimination. Thanks.
