In a theatre, as opposed to a restaurant or shop or place of work even, there is no random continual movement. I support allowing the movie theatres to be open if the follow all the Covid protocols.

There is no reason theatres should be closed. Restaurants, malls, stores are all open, theatres are perfectly capable of enacting social distancing measures and should be treated no differently than other businesses. The lack of scientific evidence to support singling out theatres, makes it appear almost malicious.

What theatres are asking for seem as reasonable as restaurants and bars. Watching movies is passive - no talking etc. It seems like the risks can mitigated.
