Cancer is an immunological disorder. The immune system usually destroys the generated cancer cells. If the rate of generated cancer cells is higher than normal, this leads to malignant disorders. The body needs external help because it is almost parallelized due to the over production of those malignant cells.

The same mechanism occurs in infectious disorders if the dose of virulent microorganism or virus is high, the immune system cannot initially coup with the invader and may not be able to recover without external help.
