Emerald Point Bar and Grill and potentially other similar venues are taking advantage of a "loophole" in the Coronavirus ordinances to host outdoor concerts such as the Vanilla Ice sold out concert Friday, July 3 with 2500 in attendance and many other outdoor events scheduled.  This needs immediate attention from Travis County Judge Sam Biscoe and Texas Governor Abbott to review this situation and determine if this is in violation of the code or if there is indeed a loophole that needs to be closed.  With the surge in Coronavirus cases, this needs to be done as soon as possible to save lives!!

With all of our other beloved Austin music venues that are closed with some less capacity than 2500, how can this go on in Austin?
