Trash Haul and Litter management Coachella, CA Dillon Rd.
Why this petition matters

Coachella is a small city located in the Coachella Valley, just 25 miles outside of Palm Springs airport. Its history spans to the time of Cahuilla tribe. The city is located in Riverside county and currently does not have it's own police unit.
Due to small governance in the city, yet immense potential, there has been a significant lack of city upkeep and over the years some parts of this quaint city have become a trash dumpsite for passing travelers who drive on Dillon road near freeway 10. There is a garbage management problem currently causing our city environmental hazards, and safety concerns due to large items such as sharp glass, trailers, and large furniture being dumped on its main roads, and nearby freeway entrances, including right in front of a Vineyards Coachella resort property as well as newly established Rv site landscape.
In the California State Legislature, Coachella is in the 28th Senate District, represented by Republican Melissa Melendez, and in the 56th Assembly District, represented by Democrat Eduardo Garcia.[24] The current Coachella mayor is Steven Hernandez
In the United States House of Representatives, Coachella is in California's 36th congressional district, represented by Democrat Raul Ruiz.
This petition is intended to instigate a road trash management and environmental safety initiative to keep the Dillon road and entrance into Indio free of all trash and debris. Sign this petition so that the city of Coachella can put up a NO Littering sign and clean the street regularly.
