Transportation to Southwestern Nova Scotia

Transportation to Southwestern Nova Scotia
Why this petition matters
For years, Southwestern Nova Scotians have been left in the shadows, left without transportation. Left feeling like we're in isolation from the rest of Nova Scotia and the rest of the Maritimes. Communities like Shelburne, Barrington and Yarmouth have no connections to the city, no connections to each other. No connections to other surrounding communities like Bridgewater or Kentville (the Valley) leaving a lot if Southwestern Nova Scotians to cancel or postponed necessary medical appointments who don't have vehicles or can't find rides from kind strangers. A lot of Nova Scotians that are not privileged to have a vehicle can't even get out for events or a day of shopping. Also at times leaves Many Southwestern Nova Scotians stranded if they can get to where they want, but can't get back. We all deserve transportation, we deserve a connection route of the Maritime Bus, we had one and now we need to use or voices to voice that we want it back. According to maritime bus it was taken because it wasn't popular and wasn't wanted. We need to voice our concerns and prove them wrong.
