As from 15th July the Over 60s travel card will be deactivated during peak travel times.  Many over 60s are still working and need to use their cards during the rush hour.  You may say that we should not be travelling during busy times.  Believe me we know that but some of us are key workers working in hospitals  care homes  or schools and nurseries etc.  Also many of usare on a low wage and rely on this concession.Why should we be penalised for trying to keep essential services running.  TFL need to rethink this action as it is deeply unfair.  Also many older people who are not working rely on using this card to get to the shops at the older persons shopping times in supermarkets. Again this is penalising people in need.   Please sign this petition to force a rethink.
