We call on the authorities to introduce a pelican crossing asap, at the bottom of Parson Street where it meets the Great North Way in Hendon.

This crossing is a major one for several local schools, places of worship and residents. Having had a number of serious accidents at the junction, resulting in life-changing injuries, we appeal to Transport for London to help protect our local residents by installing a safe crossing.

We urge Transport for London to take action to avoid future accidents. Whilst they have an objective to keep cars moving, this should not be at the expense of keeping pedestrians safe. The residents of Hendon and Barnet deserve better.
