Mask use on the London tube has become inconsistent, with increase numbers choosing not to wear them. Given the politicalisation of the issue, and right to choose, a pragmatic solution is to have carriages for those who wish to wear masks; and carriages for those who don't.
As it stands, the lack of enforcement of the legislation is rendering it meaningless - leaving many high risk, or cautious travelers worried about travel.
As passenger volumes increase and we move to winter, it is time to reconsider the simplistic policy and introduce seperate carriages - a simple label on the doors would suffice.
