Help Preserve the Tai Tam Dam and Increase Hiking Access to the Country Park!

The Tai Tam Dam turned 100 on February 2nd of 2018. It is carrying an excessive amount of heavy traffic that it was never designed to accommodate leading to frequent traffic jams and unsafe conditions for hikers, cyclists and drivers. We feel it needs to be preserved as an important historic monument in the city for the next 100 years.
Dragon's Link will create a new bridge connection to remove all vehicles from the dam and provide adequate lane widths to safely convey all vehicular traffic, including cyclists. The dam would be preserved by converting it into a pedestrian green corridor exclusively for hiking and site seeing in the Country Park while providing a new connection in the Hong Kong Trail network.
Please sign our petition to help demonstrate to the city that there is broad-based community support for this important new piece of infrastructure.
