Lifts at Yagoona, Birrong and Chester Hill Train Stations in NSW

0 have signed. Let’s get to 2,500!

At 2,500 signatures, this petition is more likely to get picked up by local news!

This petition is just one of many calls for the installation of lifts at three train stations: Yagoona, Birrong and Chester Hill.

Yagoona, in particular, has a high proportion of disabled people and young mothers. The train station is situated next to a Senior Citizens' Centre and an Early Childhood Centre. It is unfortunate that disabled/aged people need to climb those stairs to get to the Centre. The same can be said about parents carrying their prams up those stairs.

It is hard to accept that the NSW Government has done nothing about this. This is not a new issue (just Google "Yagoona station lifts"). Yagoona deserves the Government's attention and the train station needs the infrastructure to accommodate for members of our Community.

All train stations in NSW deserve an easy access lift. Please sign and share this petition so the Minister for Transport can finally do something about this.
