Schools with an abundant amount of parents and students trying to navigate the highways need safety. Some schools can handle the traffic of parents entering. But the high schools that have students trying to leave driving themself create a safety concern for not only the new driver, but the people on the highway passing by the school.

They had 1 deputy sheriff out there just to let the buses out and then they left. students had to navigate heavy traffic on their own.

Even if they only had a yellow caution light 22 hours of the day, during the morning entrance and the afternoon exit the traffic is horrible, dangerous and and unnecessary.

This petition is for North Surry High School in Mount Airy, NC but could also be for any school your child or family member goes to.

I saw a young driver turn around at the exit and not leave because she could not see clearly to leave school. 

There have been many wrecks in front of NSHS previously and it is not getting any better.
