- We are asking for traffic lights at Rozelle and Port Union Road. This intersection has been an ongoing issue for over 4 years and it is time that residents were heard. Many people from out of the ward visit Adams park and we see a high volume of traffic entering and exiting the park. We need lights to provide safe entrance onto such a busy arterial road. This will also offer a safe crossing point to our children/families to walk and cross into Adams park without need to be driven to this location.
- Many children/pedestrians are crossing at this location without any light control. Our children and most vulnerable should be the 1st concern, not the last concern. The need for lights at this location should be the priority for residents who already live here. Go Train traffic, 401 traffic and waterfront traffic should never take priority over pedestrians and children.
