The corner of HWY 15 & 10 is an extremely dangerous intersection.  Many have had near accidents, and other folks have not been as lucky and have had tragic Motor Vehicle Collisions.  

As the population of our communities increase (18% in the last 5 years alone), traffic will only continue to become heavier and the increase in incidents at this corner will, without a doubt, become more numerous.  

Traffic needs to be controlled as coming North (from Smiths Falls, into Franktown) vehicles disregard the 60 km/h speed sign and continue into Franktown at 80 km/h and sometimes higher. 

A set of traffic lights could decrease incidents, save lives and keep our community safe.
