Genevieve Perez started this petition to Toyota Motor Company

Most 16 year old's don't have jobs or tend to be busy with extracurricular activities and sports, with no car! Some children cannot afford the divers ed until they get jobs and have to walk. Amy S. says,"I can't afford to take the exam because of the cost and my parents don't work, so I have to walk to my job from school almost everyday." Us students understand the responsibility of accomplishing our drivers ed.

I believe it's not very motivating when you have to go to the DMV, wait 3 hours and pay with little money our checks as students provide! I don't think we necessarily have to be forced to take it in school, but it would be fairly nice to have the opportunity to take it free and study with someone who wouldn't have a problem teaching drivers ed and working with students!

This petition would provide more beneficial jobs to others whom need it and could use the extra money. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! It doesn't only benefit the students, but as well as people in need for a quick, fun, easy job. I don't believe this needs to be a requirement, per sa, but it would be a great opportunity and motivation for many students to participate with this free educational approach and knowing our rights of the road and surroundings of everyday traffic, road rage and many more personalities. It shows students how to take control of their own car, insurance and knowing what they need to do in a wreck, how to prevent it if they see one approaching!

This would be such a great opportunity all over the world for all students! This would help and be an important role in many schools and the educational programs!
