Neighborhood Road Paving

In the past year our neighborhood roads were torn up by PSEG due to repair work, in addition to ordinary wear and tear. While Crescent Drive is set to get full mill and pave this week, some other streets in our neighborhood (Parker, Bradley, East, West) are only getting half the street done, only to cover areas excavated by PSEG. Notably, areas that were dug up due to the water main break will not be paved.
This quick fix solution will be a long term nightmare. On top of being an eyesore, as the street weathers down and is driven upon, the two sides will never be even. It also does not address the growing problems on the unpaved side such as gravel and sinkholes (specifically on the corner East/Bradley).
As residents of this neighborhood we are signing this petition for the town to complete the paving once and for all and have a complete restoration of the roads. A piecemeal restoration is not what the residents of this neighborhood want or deserve.
Thank you for considering our request.
