Removal and Relocation of the Homeless Hotel

Removal and Relocation of the Homeless Hotel
I am raising this concern for the safety and well-being of our small community of Windsor. For those who don’t know, the Holiday Inn Windsor located at 8755 Old Redwood Highway has been transformed into a “homeless hotel.” Over the past few months the city has been pulling homeless folks from all over the county to be housed during the night at this hotel, leaving them to wonder the streets during the day.
I personally work at grocery store here in Windsor and since the installment of the homeless hotel, theft has increased by fifty percent in our store and my fellow employees have also been assaulted by numerous homeless people who revealed to us that they stay at the Holiday Inn.
I want our community to be safe, not only for myself and my family but for all the families who have kids and want to live life here in Windsor in peace. Many of these homeless people have mental disorders that are disregarded and raise safety concerns for all of us here in Windsor. My answer to this is simple, stop the funding of the hotel and remove all the homeless out of our town and send them back to where they came from.
Please sign this so we can tell the city we won’t stand for this and we care about the well being of our local citizens here, especially our towns safety.
