Children 12 and under are required to wear a mask in order to browse the public library. Our 7 year old has been kicked out of the library because she did not have a mask on. I believe that the ability for children to see and read facial expressions is a huge part of learning and that it is important as citizens of Walpole to start putting our children first. We are sacrificing an entire generation for the few that are still afraid. Please sign this petition if you are living in Walpole and are comfortable with children 12 and under not being required to wear masks at our local library. If you are a parent that is done with making your child mask up to join society please consider also speaking at a select board meeting to voice your concerns about our children in masks. They want to hear from more parents in our area.
