I’am tired of storing 2 week stinking maggot garbage from bears, and rodents.  Double bagging garbage to prevent the garbage smell in your garage. How many times have you had go up to Mine road in your car because you don’t have a truck only to find yourself stuffing garbage into a bin that is quite full only to return home with the one garbage that would’t fit.  There are families with more than two or three family members to a household, grandparents with grandchildren who come to visit to share a meal or overnight sleepovers.  Soon more travel is starting up with COVID changes, perhaps we will be expecting friends and family for holidays.  Why do you ask, do other surrounding communities, like Port Hardy have weekly garbage pickup and we don’t?   Weekly Garbage pickup by Fox disposal would greatly benefit our community in the coming months and throughout the year.  I have read many Facebook postings about needing more garbage pickup days and in talking to our local leaders this is possible by signing this petition or emailing a letter to attention; Town Council and Mayor of Port McNeill. ‘Need weekly garbage pickup days” date it and sign it.  Thank you.  (Address can be found on Town of Port McNeill website).  This is one more step forward in having some normality after the very tough year.  Please help us get back our weekly garbage pickup days.  Thanks!
