We would like to petition the town of Norwell to place a traffic light on the intersection of South and Main Street; the traffic light would decrease the congestion on the route, lower the chances of perpendicular collisions, and be a much better solution than what has been proposed previously. We think that a traffic light that only operates during arrival to the high school and departure would be the best idea. This would be from approximately 7am-8am and 2:30pm-3:30pm. At these hours, this intersection is used the most, so this would be the most reasonable solution.
