Hello Friends!
My name is Sara Khan. I am writing this petition on behalf of our Nonprofit Organization, “Mums and Daisys Foundation”. Working with different organizations and businesses made us realized that we are missing out a very basic Human Right. The right of having reasonable seating at workplaces. 
It is a very common legal worker’s right around the globe.
We Canadian are known for our Kindness, but how could we ignore this important issue that is not only related to ourselves, but to many people around us. A huge amount of our workforce spends the workday on their feet. Cashiers, construction and Industrial workers, teachers, and many more fields.
Every organization or business has Workers safety board, but none of them talk about prolong standing and it’s significant side effects. How it’s impact the health of the employee which leads to many incurable health conditions. Fatigue, musculoskeletal issues, Heart disease to name a few.
Why can’t we create an environment where quality is not only related to products, it relates to the employee’s health and well being. 
Be mindful and listen to your body practice will work only when you are in an environment that support the notion.
We are initiating this cause to make “Chair for Care” as a mandatory workplace health and wellness clause. And allow the use of it in every possible way. 
We are positive that my initiative will lead to common sense prevailing.
We are requesting our honourable Mayor of Milton, Mr. Gordon A. Krantz, Respected MP Adam Van Koeverden and MPP. Parm Gill to support the cause and help bring me the change. The beginning will be difficult, but we need to remember that it’s not impossible. Since we are not used to it, It will certainly take time for us to accept this change. But, it will definitely make a good impact on long run. Let’s make our town an example for the rest of the country.
