John Waller started this petition to Town of Huntsville Town

One of the enjoys of living in Muskoka is the access to our beautiful lakes. Tyland Park has been apart of our community for many years, however it is under utilized, given the fact that it backs onto Fairy Lake with a beautiful waterfront. However there is no access to the lake to enjoy swimming, boating, canoeing and fishing.

The park is presently maintained by the town and presents as nice lawn area within our community, therefore there would be no additional cost to maintain this area to the town or residents

This project would creating safe and vibrant public space, it would   adapt existing public park and encourage safe cultural or physical activities, and local recreation within our community

The project would help improve the mental health of the community providing and promoting activities such  walking, biking, swimming, cross country skiing, snowshoeing if we gain  access to the water through this public park.

Presently, there is a rather steep rocky access to the water that a set of steps could be built extending down to the water to give ease of access to the residents.

At the same time a small dock could be built in order to provide a safe access point to launch items like canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, it would also provide a spot for families to enjoy fishing.
