The health and welfare of the community is at stake. Those who can, will leave. Those who stay will watch their property value fall and their health decline.

I don’t want a stinky asphalt plant in my hometown! Health risks for residents, nursing homes, many schools in the area, daycare centers. Keep my hometown healthy!

I'm a new home owner here in Hamburg. And I love Hamburg for the kind people, clean streets, beautiful shops and great restuarants. I grew up in Niagara Falls, during Love Canal. Look at what Niagara Falls is now. Its the armpit of western New York. Don't make me have to move again because of a need to fill an empty facility with a company that has a fast buck for the town. Be patient. All good things come to those who wait.

The Town of Hamburg has had much recent success as a hub of economic development and commerce. Unfortunately, not all commerce is created equal. Commerce which reduces the quality of neighborhoods by emitting harmful chemicals and odors can have a massive detriment on the community. We do not stand against business development, but rather against undue impacts on other landowner’s and resident's rights.
