Why this petition matters
Started by Matt Phillips
The Town of Dryden does not own adequate recreational fields for youth and adult activities. Let’s turn un-used, town-owned land, behind the Town Hall and Highway Department into a recreational park that will benefit the entire Dryden community. A new park could have multi-purpose fields for soccer, football, and lacrosse, baseball and softball fields, and much, much more. Funding for the project could come from the recreation department’s reserve fund, grants, and donations. As a bonus, these fields would save the town money, as they would no longer have to rent facilities from the school!
Please consider signing this petition to show the Town Board that we support the creation of a recreational park behind the Town Hall.
