Bring Amy's Drive Thru to Corte Madera, CA

Note: I am an employee at Amy’s in Petaluma, a resident of Mill Valley and a member of the Southern Marin Mother's Club.
Did you know that there is a proposal to determine if they will allow an Amy’s Drive Thru in Corte Madera this Tuesday?
If you aren’t familiar with Amy’s and Amy’s Drive Thru, please check out their websites at www.amys.com and www.amysdrivethru.com You will soon realize that you probably buy Amy’s frozen pizzas and burritos, or canned soups, at Whole Foods and other natural food stores. And if you have stopped by the current Amy’s Drive Thru in Rohnert Park, you might know through first hand experience what an excellent idea this is.
Amy’s plans to demolish the existing Denny’s building, to rebuild a vegetarian, family-friend restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a drive thru. The Denny’s location has been vacant since 2014 (and is a bit of an eyesore). The proposed plan includes a green roof with live plants, increased vegetation, and a revitalization of the area.
Imagine having a drive thru when you have a carload of kids and no time to prepare a meal at home…or being able to get gluten-free and dairy-free options as well.
View the proposal online, including drawings of the plans and description here: http://www.townofcortemadera.org/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/1638
If you are planning to attend the Corte Madera Planning Commission meeting this coming Tues, Sept 12 at 730pm, please advocate in favor of the proposed Amy’s Drive Thru in Corte Madera (where the old Denny’s was).
