Parasites, mange, disease, all natures way of bringing down over population. there is no such thing as natural balance or sustainable populations in nature. Nature is boom or bust. Natural balance & sustainable populations are a creation of man & and made possible only through hunting & trapping

I walk my dog daily morning and night and and have to carry a stick and bear spray and still do not feel really safe. I go to Collingwood to visit friends with my dog and am aware is a real problem there. They are way too bold!!!!

The situation with Coyotes in Collingwood has been just getting worse now for sometime now I don’t understand why something hasn’t been done about it already. We are afraid to let our dog out in our own back yard and ours is fenced in to just hang out when the weather is nice out 4 yrs ago we were able to do this during the nice weather! It’s just not right not to feel safe in your own private back yard not to mention nervous to even let my teenage boys walk her on a leash in case Coyotes come along and try to snatch her! Which also has happened. Collingwood needs to do something about this issue sooner than later! I worry that one day it will be a small child getting mauled.

We have to take careful watch over animals and children, they are very dangerous more so when they are in a pack.
