Roxanne Sprague started this petition to Town Manager and Superintendent

On August 3rd the South Hadley School Committee approved a fully remote learning curriculum for all grades.  The information that was being voted on was not accessible to all families in the town. The proposal did not support or represent the family survey results that they gathered.  Furthermore, this proposal does not follow guidelines set by the state and the recommendations of the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Above all else, we need to do what is best for the overall health and wellbeing of our children. We ask that the results of this vote be retracted until all of the information is dispersed and reviewed by ALL families.  They would also be allowed a public forum to voice their concerns.

We would also propose that a group of South Hadley medical professionals form a task force to help guide the School Committee in making such important decisions for our children and teachers. There are several pediatricians in town who are willing to be a part of this action.  Please sign to support the kids of South Hadley!
