Tougher laws regarding slang words being used to describe people with additional needs.

This change would have a huge impact in my young daughters life and her future. I often hear and read these words daily through social media and word of mouth. The words 'Spastic' ' Retard' and many other words which are used to describe people with additional/special needs.

I have had a misfortune with dealing with an individual who used this words to my child in such an aggression I had to call the police.

I worry for my daughter who is currently 8 years old for her future and how she would have to listen to these nasty words and how it would affect her. She can be very sensitive and it would have a major impact on her self confidence should someone call her these words.

Times have changed and what may have been acceptable many many years ago is not now.

Please help me and help our children to not use these words that could have a major impact on our childs self esteem. Even if you don't have children with additional needs please sign my petition and make people aware that these words do hurt and can cause serious damage to children, young adults and adults.

Let's make a stand and it's time to abolish these awful words.

Thank you for your time and please voteand share with family and friends.

Love from us all xxx
