Since the beginning, there have only been male football teams in the TDSB, but I believe that females should be able to have football teams in TDSB schools as well. 

Teenage girls are often portrayed as weak and more susceptible to all injuries, but many girls are capable of playing this high-impact sport. Many are afraid of girls getting injured in high-impact sports but I think we can push past that and see what females have to show to us all. 

I aim to contact the TDSSAA and inform them that we would like a change in restrictions on female football teams in schools and I hope to give an opportunity to many girls in schools that have been waiting to play.
