Keep the IB Programme accessible!

Access to the International Baccalaureate Programme within the framework of the Toronto District School Board means that, as of this moment, the cost of the programme is paid for by the TDSB. This allows students to access this course of study regardless of their family’s level of income.
The programme is "offered around the world and is intended to educate students to a high, internationally recognized standard" (Global News, Toronto). While we understand that the TDSB is in the process of balancing its budget, and that it is trying to manage the needs of a vast and diverse student body, we wish to demonstrate how much we value this programme, and the fact that it is accessible to students regardless of their family's income, in the true spirit of public education.
