Throughout the past, men have ruled over woman. Through caveman, to even right this moment. In Hammurabi’s code, if a woman would like to get a divorce, and the man says no, then that is final. If the husband wants to leave the wife, then they divorce. And guess what... if the woman gets sick the man gets a “new wife” until the old wife is better. If the old wife is deceased, then the temporary wife is the wife of the same man. Obviously, history has not been fair to us girls. All through history, woman have never had equal rights to men. It is all in you! You can make the change. Be the change. Even if you are a boy. Stand up for what is right, not what is wrong. Think of your idol. Maybe she had problems being a girl. Maybe even your great grandmother did. Think of your mom too. Who knows what happened to all of them being a girl. I care because, c’mon, why do guys get the upper hand because of a stupid gender. It just is not okay. We are all human too. No one ever should once in their life feel like they are not valued because they are a girl. I, for one and a total tomboy, but deep down, I am still a girl, and I don’t want my reality to be men getting all the advantages, while I sit in my house, cleaning. Do school speeches about this, write on this subject, stand up for anything. By the end of next year, us girls will be totally equal with boys for good.
