Build off-leash dog parks on City land in the Central Waterfront

There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of people living in condominium units in this area. Many of them own dogs who need outdoor places to play and do what dogs do. The by-laws require that they be leashed at all times on public property. The closest off-leash parks right now are in Coronation Park to the west and Clarence Square to the north. These parks are a long walk or bus ride away from our homes. We take our pets to the closer parks like Roundhouse and Ann Tyndall, but the dogs must stay leashed. How can they chase a ball or play with each other? We tried the official application process in June 2015 and have heard little since. Please help us set up a safe, fenced area for canine fun!
