Petition update

THREE GREAT THINGS HAPPENED YESTERDAY: PLEASE GET SIGNATURES/ DONATIONS

C. J. Ford

Jan 27, 2016 — Yesterday, I reworked my notes, corrected my grammar and delivered a speech to the Orange County Board of Supervisors that they will long remember. The board was mystified as if it were the first time they heard about our petition and the support that we have gotten around the world. Today I will be serving each of the 5 supervisors offices, copies of our petition and signatures.

The second thing that happen was that we have retained Robert Brown a criminal and civil attorney in Los Angeles. Attorney Brown will take care of all of the legal matters regarding our campaign to have Kenneth Clair exonerated. Our ultimate goal is to end “prosecutor’s immunity” so that we can make DA’s and prosecutors criminally responsible for withholding exculpatory evidence by the bill that we will be introducing.

The third thing I found out was that our petition has met the threshold of having Washington and the president's office respond to our petition. In addition, I found out that our petition is in the hands of the president's aides. I have not been able to verify whether or not the president has read our petition or not. Since our petition went viral it met all of the qualifications, so I followed up to Washington with an email making note of our qualifications directly to the president’s attention because now the president and his office is required to get involved.

As I was saying, today I will be serving each of the 5 Board of Supervisors offices with a CD of our petition and signatures. After yesterday, they can no longer pretend that they know nothing about our historic movement. I will also be meeting with the officials in Santa Ana, California at 10:00 AM to sign the final permits on our event which is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 12 o'clock noon, at the Plaza of the Flags in the Civic Center of Santa Ana. Once I sign these permits, I will be alerting the media. I will also send you another update today after those permits are signed, and the Board of Supervisors are served a copy of the petition and signatures.

We are on a winning course, and we have a winning strategy. I have to thank you, the supporters, for making this possible. I will always be revealing information to you, the supporters, on our journey. Some of the information and strategy right now we are reserving so that we do not tip off our opposition. However, I can tell you that this is a winning plan and we are prevailing.

This is the part of this update that is very difficult. We really need to lift up our donations because we really need the money to continue our successful petition. We really need to build up the numbers of signers, even though they are astronomical right now. If each supporter gave at least $1 or more, we could push this issue all the way to Washington DC, which now appears to be our final stop. So please give what ever you can, as soon as you can, and find at least 5 new people to sign the petition.

As always, I like to thank each supporter for everything that they have done, and everything that they are planning to do. Thank you for all of the comments and suggestions, so let's go forward, pick up on our donations, and spread our petition everywhere.
