this kid should be allowed to carry a bag that has a character he loves as long as it does not promote violence or illicit activity.

Good parents teach their child/ren not to bully, to treat others like they would like to be treated. Sure, telling Grayson he isn't allowed to take his MLP will stop the bullying over the backpack but it also sends a message to the bully's that if they don't like something all they have to do is start the bullying.. What about the kids who get bullied because of a mental or behavior disorder, it's not like you can take those away from a child to stop the bullying? Crack down on the bullies, not the ones being bullied.. We are supposed to be teaching kids it is NOT ok to be a bully.

Because he should be allowed to use whatever lunch bag he wants and telling him no is letting the bullies win. Have an assembly about acceptance in this school!
