Old Hadlow Road, Stair Road and Foalhurst Close residents reject the Borough Council plan (reference DD/590/14) to introduce a "permit holders only" permit parking area in the above mentioned roads.

Our roads are not in or close to the city center, a shopping center or a train station. We never had any parking issues, only occasional additional vehicles due to local house extensions.

We challenge TMBC to demonstrate how this plan will fix the "rat-running traffic" which has plagued our road for a long time between 7:30am and 8:30am.

This plan is a ludicrous attempt to raise taxes during a very difficult COVID situation when a lot of people are already struggling financially. TMBC has already imposed additional taxes with the introduction of the brown bins!

We therefore, collectively reject this plan.
