March 16th, the best day of my life, my son was born. The moment I first saw him, I fell in love in a way I never knew possible. I knew that I would do anything to keep him safe. In that moment, I knew I would give up everything just to see him smile. 

March 19th, the worst day of my life, CYS came and took my son. They took everything from me and ripped away my soul when they took my baby. They took him right from the hospital and they never gave me a chance to be a mother. 

It's been 6 months, and I have finally been given a straight answer on why my son was taken. 

Reason 1: Lack to follow through with recommend prenatal services. I denied Nurse Family Partnership, which is my legal choice and right. 

Reason 2: Pending criminal charges. My husband had gotten ahold of counterfeit money to try and help our family before my son was born as we were 3 month behind on rent. We have been charged and that is done with now. 

Reason 3: Conditions of home. My mom had called and made a false report to CYS about my home and later told me that she wanted to take my son for the first couple months of his life. 

Reason 4: Parenting deficits. I only had 3 days with my son and every nurse at the hospital complimented how well my husband and I did with our son. I had a C-Section and was up and taking care of my son after a few hours. I stayed up all night and all day for 3 days straight. I woke him up every 2 hours to breast feed and even wrote it down in the chart to make sure he was eating enough. 

The day before my son was taken, my husband and I were both told he was coming home by the case worker. We have been told many lies and at first we trusted CYS. Now we know our rights and we just want our son home. We have lost 6 (almost 7) months of our sons life that we will never get back. Please help us. We are desperate and we don't know what to do anymore. We are lost and empty without our son. Please sign this petition to help us so we can help you. We plan on helping other families once we get our son home because nobody deserves to go through this pain. 

We are also now living in a Hotel room, making $4,000 to $5,000 a month and have everything our son will need up until he is 3 to 5 years old. We are choosing to stay in the Hotel Room as it gives us the opportunity to save money for a home. And we can legally have our son living with us while we are in the Hotel Room. CYS has told us otherwise and I've called them out on many of their lies lately.
