Please help save my niece from the system and mental abuse she is being put through at her foster home and by CYS. My niece was taken by children and youth in  other county when we live in Another County. My parents and sister had took in my niece  They said it was fine that the parents are letting us take care of my niece and put it in writing, We have all paperwork. Then 13 days later Cys took custody of my niece saying she lived in Another county. When we would call and ask for information they wouldn’t talk to us because we were not the parents.Children and youth  gave all power of visitation and contact to foster mom. My mom and dads grandparents rights were not acknowledged at all.The foster home she is in mentality abused my niece and still is.My parents filed for custody over 2 and a half years and My sister filed for adoption going on a year. Cys waited till court was starting to have foster parent file for adoption this year. We couldn’t go to court till the foster parent filed for adoption then we had to do all 3 proceedings in one court all together. Even though Children and youth said in court 2019 that the foster parent had already filed for adoption.We have not seen my niece since July 3rd and they won’t let us even talk to her. The foster parent testified in court that she says things about us to my niece. Children and youth said in their closing argument that it didn’t matter if my niece loses her paternal side of the family her religion or her Greek cultural.Over half of are evidence of the alcoholic behavior, bruises and mental abuse was not allowed to be put in as evidence.Children and Youth has committed perjury in the court room. We should proof of the lies, the paperwork from their office they said didn’t exist.Every time the abuse of alcohol by the foster parents was brought up CYS and all the caseworkers were laughing with the foster mom.The foster parent has moved from one alcoholic  boyfriend to another. She has not worked since 2017 and the only income is foster care money. She even made her own 15 year old son move out because she had 3 foster kids in one bedroom that wasn’t allowed. When asked where does he sleep when he visit the foster mom said on the couch but mostly in the garage, in this cold weather that is not safe. The foster mom also said that lightning a fire pit in the garage with propane takes is not a risk. The original case worker and her supervisor have disappeared and Cys says they don’t know where they are. Just so they can cover up the mistake they are making an innocent little girl pay the price. If the judge doesn’t side with us and gives her back, We will fight for as long as it takes because we love her and always will. We love you OJK and are trying are hardest to bring you home for Christmas and if it takes longer just remember We will keep our promise and never give up fighting for you till you are home safe my love…
