Problem
The cms are failing both single resident parents and non resident parents and are not supplying regular and reliable financial assistance to children for day to day living expenses.  Calculations are being made incorrectly and incorrect information is being given to parents by the CMS. People are also working the system both sides in order to either keep payments to a minimum or to obtain more. 

Solution
Rapid improvements are required to non fit for purpose policies processes procedures and systems in order to ensure that the system is fair reliable and regular. 

Personal story
I like many others am constantly being failed by this service. Missed payments, overpayments, incorrect maintenance and arrears calculations are to name but a few for both resident and non resident parents
