End the expansion of Sober Living Homes in Costa Mesa, CA

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Costa Mesa is 3.6% of Orange County's population but has 29% of Sober Living homes in the entire county. Sober living facilities have increased 113% since 2014 and the City Council has ignored regulating ordinances to protect expansion and will not address this issue. Residents are fighting back and taking back our community.

This is impacting crime rates, the safety of our community and our property values. Take a quick walk on 17th street or by triangle square and you can see how the homeless population is growing and getting out of control. When issues arise with sober living residents, the police are even telling us their hands are tied and the City Council members are not helping address this issue. This has got to stop!

We demand City Manager, Tom Hatch, put an end to opening any more Sober Living homes in Costa Mesa and shuts down all unregistered homes.
