Re-open Roos-n-More zoo for the sake of the animals and all of the people involved

On August 5, 2015 the Clark county commissioners' board voted to close down Roos-n-More zoo located an hour north of Las Vegas Nevada. Not only will the zoo be closed to the public, but each and every animal must be removed from the property. Closing the zoo down to the public is one thing. That means no more hands on education about conservation will be given, and no one else will be able to enjoy these animals like the hundreds of people have enjoyed them in the past. Removing these animals from the property is a whole other issue. For example, moving the zoo's camels from their home that they have known since they were born to a new location they are unfamiliar with will do nothing more than turn that camel into a 3,000 pound problem for whoever receives the animal. This goes for the hundreds of other animals that call the zoo home. They will feel abandoned in their own different ways and create nothing but trouble for their new owners. The decision by the board has inadvertantly put hundreds of animals and people at risk. If the motion to keep the zoo comes up on the ballot again in one months time it is urged that they reconsider their votes. This zoo does nothing but good for the community and all of the people involved with it. No good will come from the decision that the board members have made and all that we can ask for is reconsideration.
